Farin gida Culvert Project

Project Overview
This project is aimed at building a culvert for the residents of the Faringida community in Kaduna State Nigeria, at Gwari road,This gulley has caused disrupted access to the road and endangered lives, especially during the rainy season for children going to school, the project will be used to mark the 50th birthday of the founder (Rev. Fr. Innocent Ojoarome Awulu CSSP) and the 2nd anniversary of the PLC humanitarian foundation, Kaduna chapter.

The committee took up the challenge by writing appeal letters for financial support from individuals, faith-based organizations, and corporate bodies.
the project was flagged off on the founder's birthday i.e 19th of October 2025, the the Sarki Faringida and his council together with the CAN Faringida pastors led by the CAN chairman pastor Chucks came to the project site to inspect the items required to execute the project and pray for the success of the project
Building the culvert
the construction culvert project lasted for 5 days, from 23rd to 28th October, 2025

Interviews
During the construction of the culvert, the committee conducted interviews with several residents at Faringida community including the sarki of Faringida and the chairman of Motorcycle Riders Association of Faringida, to get their views on the importance of the project to the community.

Commissioning
the culvert project was successfully executed and commissioned on the 1st November 2025, and the office complex was opened on the same day, the following are some of the hhighlights of the ceremony
